How I got into fitness:

My journey in fitness started when I was young and loved playing sports, but has evolved greatly since I started taking classes at UKB. I started attending Ultimate Kickboxing and Fitness back in 1999 when I wanted to try something new for exercise. I became a certified instructor shortly thereafter, and have enjoyed being a part of UKB ever since.  I have loved trying new forms of fitness and training throughout the years (e.g. Kettlebells, ropes, weight training, spinning, yoga, running/walking, and TRX). Over the past 16 years of instructing, I have developed a passion for feeling strong and confident through fitness.

Why UKB?

I think there is something special about teaching classes at Ultimate Kickboxing and Fitness. It gives you a sense of empowerment, confidence, inspiration, enjoyment, and camaraderie.  UKB is a small gym that feels like a family, but offers the challenges needed to improve myself continuously. I also feel it is very important to better yourself safely and I know at UKB, we make sure of that. Even though we are teaching many, we try to make it feel as if it’s similar to that one-­on-­one experience you get with personal training. UKB offers a variety of great opportunities to better yourself physically, mentally, and spiritually!

TRX Certified Instructor 2014

UKB Cardio Kickboxing Certified 2000

Group Instruction: 50/50, Cardio Kickboxing, & Sculpt
